- LIFTING A BUILDING -
The cops took her advice and started to run away. Not satisfied with
this, Joanna reached down and picked up the police car. She threw the
car at the cops, hitting and immediately crushing them. The force of
the throw caused the car to compress to only inches high, and to embed
itself into the pavement.
"I'm completely invincible!," Joanna thought. "I wonder just how
strong I really am."
Joanna looked across the road and spotted an office tower. She walked
over to it. Crouching down and sinking her hands into the side of the
building, she began to raise up with her legs. There was a horrendous
noise as the building was torn out of the ground! Joanna was surprised
at just how easy that had been and wanted to see if she could hold it
up
with just one hand. She therefore began to tilt the building to get it
centered over her head.
But as she was tilting it, the weight transfer from the building
footers
to just the area of her feet, was too much pressure for the groung to
handle, and her feet sank over a foot into the ground. Intent upon
getting the building properly balanced, Joanna didn't notice this.
But
she did notice when she heard a loud crack and fell into water up to
her
nose.
The ground had given way and Joanna was now in a reinforced concrete
sewage tunnel under the building.
"God it stinks in here!" She inadvertantly swallowed a gulp of water.
"Oh yuch" she said in disgust as she spit it out. The tunnel was
completely dark; there were no installed lights, and the building she
held above her blocked the sunlight. Joanna began to panic but thought
to herself, "Well, I'll just toss the building off of me, then I can
swim up and get out of here." So she cocked her arms back a bit to get
additional leverage, then gave a mighty heave.
What she hadn't counted on was the physics principle of
action/reaction,
or in this case just reaction. For when she tried to heave the
building, the floor of the tunnel gave way instead and Joanna sunk up
to
her knees. This put her head completely under water. Joanna panicked
and let go of the building. The building immediately smashed down on
her head, but her head was much the stronger and harder. Her head
crashed through the bottom concrete floor of the building; the building
continued to fall down until it rested on her shoulders. Raw sewage
immediately flooded into the building through the hole in the floor
around her neck.
Joanna also noticed that she was sinking lower. When her feet had
broken through the floor of the sewage tunnel, it had left a hole
around
her legs. The water from the tunnel was flowing into that hole and
softening the underlying soil, turning it to mud. It was obvious to
Joanna that it would be impossible for her to climb out of the hole.
Meanwhile, at ground level, when Joanna had lifted the building from
the
ground, the gas main serving the building had been torn open. Also,
the
electrical power cables for the building had severed. The combination
of leaking gas and electrical sparks had caused the gas to ignite into
a
huge fireball. The gas continued to burn at the main with the force of
a jet engine. Although initially directed straight up, the force of
the
flames caused the gas main to shift, and the flames ignited the
building. Joanna was unaware of this.
Joanna was also in complete panic.

Hi Paul,
Here's my contribution to the joint story:
REFERENCE: 1111
TITLE: The Human Crusher
LINK: Joanna picks up the tank.
TEXT: Joanna reaches out and picks up the huge tank. Her muscles
ripple with inhuman strength as she hefts the gargantuan weight
over her beautiful face. Sweat pours of her nubile young body as
her power increases a hundredfold to cope with the 50 tonne mass.
Joanna licks her lips sensually as she slowly begins crushing the
reinforced steel structure with her bare hands...
